Japan has a very old, highly complex culture. Therefore, even the relationships between Japanese companies with each other have been built over a long period of time and it is impossible for foreigners to fully penetrate or disrupt them to their advantage. The most important thing for initial contact is a recommendation from another Japanese. But this is also not easy to obtain. There is a strong emphasis on personal ties in Japanese business. Every contract is preceded by a personal meeting, without which it is impossible to get a contract. For the first meeting, it is a good idea to use an interpreter or a third party who will possibly correct the different cultural practices.
